Comienzan las XXXII JORNADAS DE CONVIVENCIA EXTREMEÑA de la FEDERACION DE ASOCIACIONES EXTREMEÑAS DE EUSKADI “FAEDE” en las Campas de Arrate, Éibar, Gipuzkoa, en una mañana con un tiempo excepcional para la convivencia.
Entre las 9:30 y las 10: horas, fueron llegando los autobuses de las distintas asociaciones de Extremeños afincadas en Euskadi y pertenecientes a la Federación de Asociaciones de extremeños de Euskadi, de localidades y centros como Santurce, Barakaldo, Bilbao, Galdakao, Durango, Ermua, Mondragón, Rentería, Vitoria, San Sebastián, faltando a la cita las Asociaciones de Andoain, Zarautz y Tolosa, Astrabudua-Erandio, Legazpia, Llodio.

Levanta el día, sol radiante, sitio espléndido, la gente contenta y participativa, unos juegan, otros colaboran en los concursos, otros los organizan y otros muchos preparan las barbacoas para que coman todas sus viandas, pero antes se comparten, es la hora de la recepción de autoridades, van llegando una a una, o de dos en dos, se les agasaja con el resultado del concurso del jamón, con una migas extremeñas y con un vino de pitarra de la Puebla de Sancho Pérez, llegan Julia Hernández, adjunta Arateko, los concejales del Ayuntamiento de eibar, Pedro Escribano y Arcadio Benitez, el Alcalde de Eibar, Miguel de los Toyos, el Concejal de Ermua, Jose Luis Auraujo, a continuación se va llamando a todos los responsables de las Asociaciones, a la Comisión Permanente y a todas las autoridades al escenario los cuales van subiendo al son del txistu y el tamboril.
Se les da la palabra en primer lugar al Presidente de la Federación de Asociaciones Extremeñas en Euskadi, Enrique García, el cual les da la Bienvenida a los presentes les comenta un poco el desarrollo de los actos del día, los próximos actos a realizar y da las gracias a los colaboradores de estas jornadas, al Centro Cultural extremeño de Ermua, como organizador, al Ayuntamiento de Eibar, cerrando el acto la Vicepresidenta del Cosejo de Comunidades Extremeñas, Concha Chavero, se termina con la escucha de los himnos de Euskadi y Extremadura, para terminar con unos detalles: con unas cestas de cerezas picotas del Jerte, llegadas expresamente de Extremadura para la ocasión.
Termina el acto del escenario y se pasan las autoridades y acompañantes por las diferentes asociaciones donde son agasajadas por los socios/as y directivos de las Asociaciones, termina el acto matinal.
En fin termina la jornada pasada por agua, pero después de haber pasado a tenor de los comentarios de una jornada agradable.
